2007 ATV Raffle Rules
- Raffle tickets shall not be sold to persons under the age of 18
- Raffle tickets to be sold only in Alberta
- Raffle prizes are three 2010 ATV's and the early bird prize is a channel utility trailer.
- Ticket sellers shall advise buyers not to write the name of person or persons under 18 years of age on ticket.
- The early bird draw will be held August 7, 2010 at the CNP Quad Squad Office, 8342-19 Ave., Coleman, AB. The early bird ticket sales cutoff will be July 30, 2010. The main draw will be hel Ocgtober 17, 2010 at the CNP Quad Squad Office, 8342-19 Ave., Coleman, AB. The sales cutoff for the main draw will be October 8, 2010.
- There shall be no restrictions on members of the organization buying tickets
- There shall be a minimum of 15,000 tickets sold to cover the organizations costs or an application for extension will be made to AGLC, and with AGLC approval a revised raffle draw date shall be established. The date for determination and application for extension will be October 1, 2010.
- There shall be no refunds on ticket sales.
- Notice advising ticket purchasers, in the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that the licensed charity and the AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
- Winning tickets will be returned to the draw barrel for next draw
- Prizes will be drawn from Third place prize to First place prize.
- All prizes will be awarded as listed on the ticket license application with no cash value.
- There shall be no amendments to start date of raffle
- Winners shall be notified by phone, and letter to the address shown on the ticket stub, and shall have one year from the date of draw to claim their prize.
- In the advent of the winning ticket holder not accepting prize within one year of date of draw the prize will be forfeited back to the club to dispose of as deemed profitable to the organization, with the written approval of AGLC
Advertising and promotion
- Raffle shall be advertised on the club newsletters and on the website.
- Raffle posters will be placed in member dealer's place of business and local retail outlets.
- May advertise in local papers and radio.
- The club may do mall display marketing if deemed appropriate to ensure maximum exposure and ticket sales.
- CNP Quad Squad Website will be used as information and shall have the raffle rules posted as well as license number of raffle, and examples of prizes to be raffled.
Financial Controls
- All receipts from ticket sales shall be handled by the treasurer of the organization.
- All ticket books shall be assigned and accounted for to members only by signature or written request.
- All ticket books will be recorded as to who is responsible for them and shall be required to be returned to the treasurer within 30 days of receipt
- All monies from sale of tickets shall be deposited to the Raffle Account. Expenses of raffle will be paid from this account as monies become available, or if necessary will be paid from the general account which will be reimbursed as monies are available.
- All monies will be held in separate account and the accounting will be done under a separate ledger in the organizations book keeping program
